A New Chapter

Starting a new chapter always means that one is closing and closing this chapter has been bitter sweet. The years I have been working at Southwest Community Church have been some of the best years of my life, but I can't wait to see what adventures God has planned in the years ahead.

I am excited to let you know, I am now a part of this organization as a mission mobilizer. In this role I will mainly be working with local churches to help them plan and train for their short-term mission trips.

Working with local churches and training for mission trips, isn't that the perfect job for me?

But, as with any new adventure there are challenges. One of my biggest challenges is that this position is a faith-supported job. This means that I must raise monthly support both personally and for ministry expenses.

So what does this look like? The personal support I need is $3,000 per month (rent, utilities, insurance, food, etc.); ministry support is about $1,000 per month (transportation, travel, office supplies, etc.); and I also need a one time donation of $3,000 for a mission trip to San Paulo, Brazil in July.

I ask that you prayerfully consider how you can partner with me in ministry. I know that not everyone is able to just pick up and go on the mission field, but I am thankful that God has blessed me that way, so that I can GO and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
